Yesterday afternoon I drove to the post office and (with elissali's help) dropped 108 Winter Solstice Letters in. Domestic friends should receive theirs between today and Friday; international friends, hopefully not too long after that, but who knows.

This means that I have a life again! I celebrated by... beating my head against elissali's scanner problems for a few hours. Ugh. But she did my laundry for me, so that was nice. :) And I might bake cookies soon, which would be much more celebratory.

Today: business-y lunch gig, then Ikea, then killing time for five hours, then dinner with lyriendel and towk and fyrna. Tomorrow: catch up on the rest of my life that I've been putting off in order to finish the WSL. Then start on the other big projects.

Hello again, outside world! Wow, you sure got chilly while I was shut inside my room with my nice warm computer and printer. But that's okay, because in 12 more days, we'll be heading toward more sunlight instead of less!
